Merry Christmas
We decided on cold Christmas lunch with the exception of hot pork. Mum really wanted hot pork, so she got it! Dad and I cooked furiously the whole day before hand and all morning and managed to come up with the following spread.
This was for ten people and as usual, we had enough for 30 people but we will eat the leftovers during the following week when we have lots of guests popping in. Unfortunately, I was a bit sick on Christmas day and didn't really eat much at all and didn't drink any alcohol at all, but I do plan to get stuck in today and do my fair share.
Highlights- I rolled and stuffed the boned turkey and it ended up being perfectly cooked. Dad's apple, sage and currant stuffing for the roast pork was also a winner. The glaze, which I got from Gourmet Traveller was also simple but delish. Next year I'm going to go for a more Asian inspired theme I think, maybe some duck salad and lots of seafood, because the white cooked chicken is super spesh too. Even though I didn't eat dessert yesterday, I'd already stolen a few pieces of the famous papa's cheesecake prior to the day and I will consider it my goal to eat the remaining cheesecake in the next few days. I forgot to take photos of dessert but managed to get the rest of the spread.
I hope you had a really nice days and got to surround yourself with loved ones. Please tell me what you ate xx

Delicious spread! We had oysters, prawns, scallops, blue swimmer crab, hot pork, caprese salad, and of course Wombok salad. I made a pavlova and ate almost a quarter of it.
It looks wonderful E. merry Christmas.
Looks like you had quite a Christmas feast!
